Christmas Eve in a 500 sq ft studio

The words of my great grandmother ring in my ears:

“You can live in the largest mansion in the world, but if there’s no love, it will never be big enough. But if you have love, you can be happy anywhere.”

500 Sq feet is hardly enough room to contain all the love we have on our first Christmas together, but it’s enough room for us to share some tea, munch on a box of chocolates, cuddle up on our (tinyass) couch, and enjoy Christmas Eve.

I am infinitely thankful for Alan being home this Christmas, instead of him being in Iraq, like last year. Home really is wherever you decide to lay your love down at the end of the day. Even though our home isn’t set in stone right now, and we will be moving around a lot in the next year, I am absolutely sure that wherever we end up will be the perfect place for us.

Side note: raspberry filled chocolates are gross!!

Merry Christmas. :)
